HippieBus# is a pop-up event in schools for grades 2-6. It is a Workshop Series that explores fun and challenging games, sharing sessions, and exercises that enhance the Mind/Body/Spirit experience.

We are also working with Montessori schools for all age groups now.

Students work in pairs or groups and rotate through 5 PODS that focus on community, kindness, tolerance, confidence, and imagination.  PODS are guided by mentors that help them explore these core values.

What IS a Workshop Series?

Students are introduced to the program in a WELCOME and begin to become aware of each primary FOCUS: Mind/Body/Spirit and start to recognize what each of the PODS focus on.  At the end of the 4 week session, students get a BADGE ceremony and are awarded with a sash of all of the workshops they have completed.

Each of the 5 workshops are 25 minutes long and set up in PODS. There is a guide at each POD and teachers assistants can help move the groups from POD to POD.  The start is staggered so all 5 PODs are happening at the same time, and each student gets to experience each POD.

Each session has a WRAP Session before returning to class.  Think of all the strong work you have done here today.  Don't you feel good about yourself, your friends, and your community?  Give yourselves a round of applause.

6th Graders would ideally go first *(see sample schedule) on Tuesdays for example, then help with the other grades on their days.  They will also be awarded extra BADGES for their service during the closing ceremony.
